Dog Obedience Training Philosophy
At D'Andrea Professional Dog Training our pride and confidence translates to lasting, clear training. As all pups and dogs are different, training approaches will vary, but the end result is the same. Training starts immediately after the pup is brought home. Good complete dog training includes the three phases of training. The learning Phase, the Correction Phase, and the proofing Phase. When these phases are followed, the dog will have a clear understanding of what we expect from them in every day situations.
The D'Andrea Professional Dog Training courses are designed to teach you and your family how to establish leadership by carrying out daily indoor and outdoor exercises. Here we like to be proactive not reactive. We teach dogs how to behave in particular situations, not how not to behave! Establishing leadership starts by opening a line of communication with your dog. Your dog will learn right from wrong. When starting a basic obedience course, your dog learns the commands outlined in the program, and owners learn how put them to use, as well as becoming good, fair, pack leaders.
D'Andrea Professional Dog Training encourages all family to participate in the training experience. Consistency and scheduling is of utmost importance!
Once you have learned the basic communication skills, you and your family will be able to successfully work with your dog well after he graduates!
While dogs can become the pack leaders if you let them, they are more comfortable with you being the leader of the pack. Trust me; you will be happier as well!
